Arts on Division
Arts on Division is an annual cultural celebration that will be held from Thursday, May 17 through Saturday, May 20. Most of the arts activities will take place at 15-17 Division Street, which is a 5200 square foot storefront that is currently vacant. Thus far, a large and diverse fine art exhibition in the space will include paintings, sculpture, ceramic arts, photography and printmaking. Additionally, performance art such as dramatic readings, poetry, dance and music will be held in the space. Arts on Division will be open to the public at no charge.

Saturday 19th
Somerville's Sampler Day & Restaurant Week Begins
Somerville's 7th Annual Sampler Day features restaurant tasting, demonstrations, sidewalk sales and other events — all featuring Somerville businesses. Live Music is also included at specific main street locations throughout the festive day. Sampler Day also kicks off another Somerville favorite: Restaurant Week.
Restaurant Week showcases downtown Somerville restaurants. Participating restaurants in the 4th annual event will feature popular 3-course $20.11 prix fixe dinners from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. from Saturday the 19th to Saturday the 26th — a great opportunity to discover a brand new dining experience or the perfect excuse to get together and revisit an old favorite in downtown Somerville.

Weekly car show on Main Street draws thousands weekly to walk around town and view the cars.

5K Road Race starts at 5:30 pm, with an attendance of 200+ participants.

Monday 28th
Tour of Somerville & Memorial Day Parade
The highlight of the day of cycling is the 50-mile Kugler-Anderson Memorial Tour of Somerville, known as the “Kentucky Derby of Cycling.” The Tour is the oldest bicycle race in the United States. Memorial Day Parade is in the morning. The day’s events include skateboard and inline skating demonstrations, other events for children and an international hackey sack tournament. Event draws over 20,000 visitors.

Farmer's Market Begins
Noon - 6pm
Located along Grove and East Main Street along the historic Somerset County Courthouse green, the market features fresh locally grown fruits and vegetables, poultry, eggs, wildflower honey, artisan cheeses, gourmet pickles and olives, natural ice cream, and more. The Somerville Farmer's Market draws about 300 people on average each week (x16).
